Regional Economic Policy – What we do

In the case of the infrastructure and land use, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Northern Black Forest is already involved at the planning stage, for the benefit of regional economic development of all firms already located and for these looking for new opportunities and a business location with a future.
In political dialogue with the government and administration, the Chamber advocates a reduction in the tax burden on companies and greater transparency in the tax and levy system. Thus, public budgets are coming under growing pressure to rationalise, save and privatise. In fighting red tape, it aims to enhance the flexibility of entrepreneurial decisions. Taxes are an outstanding decision parameter when making investments. A simple and reliable system with low tariffs fosters investment activity and rewards successful investors.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry Northern Black Forest supports an economic policy that provides appropriate and reliable basic conditions. Thus, the Chamber creates basic requirements for advanced growth and employment in the region. Its company surveys are an important source of information and a basis for policy demands.
